Excellent, well-written and dare-I-saw compassionate overview, Jason. I think there is such pent-up eagerness to try new ways of interacting. And I don't know of people more capable of sustained effort than journalists. Full-court press, baby!

Jason,

I came across your blog while researching people interested in progressive journalism and what is in store for future journalists. It’s refreshing that someone is having a conversation about the convergence of web, journalism, and media.

Newsy.com, partnered with the University of Missouri, creates videos that analyze and synthesize news coverage of important global issues from multiple sources. Its unique method of presenting how different media outlets around the world are covering a story lends itself well to understanding the complexities of political issues, among many other topics.

Below is an example of a recent video on the interview with Dick Cheney and the controversies surrounding it, taking perspectives from multiple news outlets to present an unbiased story. I believe this will be of interest to you - please let me know what you think.
